This is the first in a series of 8" x 8" bird paintings, painted "alla prima" or all at once. The paint is juicy and the colours bright and robust. This little canvas is one and a half inches thick and is painted all around the sides. It has a glossy coating making it perfect for small areas where you want a splash of colour.
