Chrystal Cat
This little kitty named Chrystal with the gorgeous eyes was the lifelong companion of a friend of mine. Due to the cat's passing I surprised her with this painting for Christmas. If you have a pet portrait you would like painted, please contact me. The painting size was 8" x 8" x 1.5".
Chrystal wore a collar shown here painted on the bottom side of the canvas.

Roxy the Schnauzer
You can just feel the energy of this dog. This was a commission for a Christmas present for a friend to give away. It looks like I might be doing pet portraits. This was painted on an 8" x 8" x 1.5" canvas.

Cocktails: Burbon on the Rocks
I had a lot of fun painting the ice cubes in this drink. I added the straw to connect the top edge of the painting to the subject. The brightest spot was the dash of transparent yellow paint in the glass without any additional layers on top. This 8" x 8" x 1.5" original acrylic on canvas catches the eye with all the ice and glass reflections. Price: $150.00 US or Can.

Rich red and brown in the cast shadows and background make this painting a warm, inviting focal point. In this painting I chose a few of my household items for a grouping: crystal vase, candlestick and clock. What inspired me to paint this grouping was the random shadow pattern the flowers made on the tablecloth. This painting is 30" x 40" x 1.5" deep and is painted around the edges. Price: $1785.

Little Boy Blue
This is a painting of my friend's son who obviously didn't want his picture taken, but his face is so full of expression, I had to paint him. His baggy coat and rubber boots show that he is ready for action, not posing for the camera. This painting is 12" x 16" by 3/4" deep and would look splendid in a frame. Price: $100 USD.

Chickadee IX
Cooler weather? No problem, I'll just fluff up my feathers. Broad, bold brush strokes create a loose interpretation of a black capped chickadee that is feeling the wind. Price: $150 USD

Chickadee VIII
Singing his heart out, you can almost hear his song as this little bird comes to life on the canvas. The bold brushstrokes of juicy paint keep the painting loose and vibrant. The canvas is 8" x 8" x 1.5" deep, painted all around the sides. Price: $150.00 USD

Fanning out the tail, bending the knees, ready for take off. There is so much movement in this painting he is just about flying off the canvas. This little darling is painted on 1.5" deep canvas all around the sides and is 8" by 8" square. Price: $150 USD.

Sunkissed
Sunkissed is the companion piece to Sunstruck. Painted in matching colours and textures, this second painting of the same meadow with birch trees lines up with Sunstruck on both sides so it can be displayed together or by itself. This painting is available for $1785. Both these paintings are painted around the 1.5" sides and need no framing.

Sunstruck
Continuing with my tree series, this is one of two paintings of this meadow with a grouping of birches and some long grass. The grass seems to sway in the wind and the strong sunlight is casting long shadows. Every colour of green and yellow weave together for strong visual interest. This piece is for sale for $1785. The companion piece may be hung to the right of this one or to the left as the horizon lines up either way.
